Elephant apple is a large, round, greenish yellow fruit and it has many seeds. Each fruit is about 5–12 cm diameter and consists of about 15 carpels, each carpel containing five seeds embedded in an edible but fibrous pulp. This is our tok-mishti-jhal, lip-smacking elephant apple pickle. We really don’t want to say anything further and just let the photos do the talking.
